Vols. 1 and 2 cover names from Aagaard to Hermann, and Hertz to Thoresen, or about 135 and 200 authors, respectively. Entries may be short or lengthy: N.F.S. Grundtvig has 27 pages! Longer entries have divisions (not well-delineated) by type of material (personalia, notebooks, works (by type), etc.) which are in turn subdivided by collection numbers consisting of a name--"New Royal Collection," "Collins Collection," etc.--plus a number referring to a specific folio or other unit within that collection, and a listing of the items under that collection number relevant to the specific author and material.
