Hardcover. Condizione: Near Fine. Condizione sovraccoperta: Near Fine. Oleander Press, Cambridge, UK. 1986. 362 pages. This handbook was first compiled in 1917 for British Intelligence and to serve as a guide for intelligence officers and politicians, from the West. A most interesting historical document that reads more like gossip pages from the Middle East. Oleander re-published this updated version in 1986 with much of the meat still present, just less topographical detail on the region, and more of a who's who, and which families are aligned with whom, alongside historical differences, etc. Book is about fine with no flaws of note other than a speck here or there. The bright attractive DJ is preserved in an acid-free protector with flaws limited to sunning to orange hue on spine and along base on front, with minor thin scratch on rear. A very nice tight, clean copy.
