Pictorial dust jacket rubbed with several short closed tears at edges, front panel has wrinkled 4cm tear with slight surface paper loss at top right and short stray ink mark near center of fore-edge, several light scratches to rear panel, spine and flap fold ends nicked, strong vertical crease to dj's rear joint, some toning to white flaps; dj now presented in a mylar Brodart protector. Beige cloth with blue stamped spine lettering, pictorial color title label upon front board. Book's rear hinge modestly bowed by seven newspaper sport section headsheets being laid-in but with no splitting to the hinge itself. Six headsheets are from the Memphis Commercial Appeal and one from the Jackson, Mississippi Clarion Ledger regarding Kentucky Derby and Preakness races for 1967, 1968, and 1969. Still a very good copy in a very good- dust jacket.
