Il réunit, à travers le travail prolifique de graveur de Blanchard parmi les plus grands dessinateurs romantiques : Tony et Alfred Johannot, 47 et 77 gravures, Louis Marckl, 27 gravures, Lecurieux, 7 gravures, et Gavarni, 4 gravures. Seulement 3 ne sont pas signées. Toutes les autres sont signées par le dessinateur et le graveur, et portent une légende et l'indication de la pièce qu'elle illustre. Bel ensemble de gravures ne présentant que quelques menues rousseurs éparses, dans une jolie reliure en demi-maroquin. Vicaire, tome 7, 458.
