Mit diesem didaktisch hervorragenden Buch ist es den Autoren gelungen, das wirklich nicht leichte Thema der Neuroanästhesie vollständig und doch kompakt darzustellen. Besonders möchte ich auf die, jeweils am Kapitelende sich befindende, Literatursammlung hinweisen, die eine weitergehende Recherche ermöglicht. Trotz des nicht unerheblichen preises ist dieses Buch für jeden in der Neuroanästhesie tätigen Kollegen ein hilfreicher Begleiter in der täglichen Arbeit. Das Buch stellt einen wirklich praxisnahen Zusammenhang zwischen Klinik und Theorie her - beschreibt aber zugleich auch komplizierten Stoff in einer so verständlichen Sprache, dass das Lesen wirklich Spass macht. Besonders eindrucksvoll beschrieben und sehr gut erklärt ist das Kapital "Pathologische Neurophysiologie". Man kann nur hoffen, dass es einen Nachfolger zu diesem Buch gibt.
