Aggiungi al carrelloPaperback. Condizione: New. Print on Demand. In this fascinating book, the author explores the profound importance of silence and secrecy in human society. Delving into historical and literary contexts, the author demonstrates how the ability to keep a secret has been both revered and reviled throughout the ages. The author skillfully analyzes the complex interplay between eloquence and reticence, introspectively examining the reasons why people often struggle to keep secrets, from vanity to a natural human desire to connect. Ultimately, this book offers profound insights into the nature of trust, the dangers of gossip, and the power of silence as a tool for both personal and collective growth. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.
