Recipes also include a 'War and Peace' Christmas pudding, minced meat roly, oatmeal bread and potato pastry.This publication coincides with Lord Woolton's BBC radio programme aimed primarily at housewives entitled 'The Kitchen Front', which was broadcast six days a week.
