The text was written in both English and French. - Jorg Lozek's pictures meet our desire for painting in a manner that is full of curiosity, subversive and reflective. His paintings bear witness to the quest for creating an identity, for disorder and non-places, of garrets and rooms evoking memory. The painter-director stages "one's own four walls as a theatre - set", allowing us to observe figures lost in self-contemplation. The inconsequentiality and introverted unease of the characters turn their home into the real expression of their inner self. So does this address the question: "Tell me where you live and I'll tell you who you are"? The answer is probably that whiff of forlorn-ness and homelessness which pervades the interiors of Jorg Lozek. ISBN 9782917515013 Sprache: Englisch Gewicht in Gramm: 794.…
