Hardcover. Condizione: Used: Very Good. Condizione sovraccoperta: No Dust Jacket. This old children's book is clean, solid and in great shape! The book is undated but is circa 1900. Verse and full-page, full-color illustration of 24 professions. Most are timeless (builder, farmer, carpenter) while others have evolved or obtained new names (clockwinder, bird stuffer, the Dame). Dark blue cloth with illustrated front cover paste-on with title, 52 pages, 24 full-page illustrations, illustrated title and contents pages. This is a hardcover book awesome color illustrations. The binding is strong with all pages firmly attached. The pages are clean with no soiling or writing. There is a dog eared fold mark at the very bottom corner of a few pages. The covers and front paste on illustration are in nice shape with just a hint of edgewear. This old book looks and feels great! We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box!

Grant Richards. 1898. First edition. Large landscape 4to. Green hesian spine, illustrated paper covered boards. Illustrated throughout in colour. Each page has a blank verso - probably to allow plates and verses to be framed. A book version of Disney's "It's a Small World" Ride. Front free endpaper torn out. Light foxing and spotting. Inner hinge visible but holding. Generally clean and sound.

Hardcover. 1st ed. Quarter cloth bound. Pictorial glazed boards rubbed, bumped and with chips at extremities. The rear board has a two inch closed tear. Hinges cracked. Of the 30 full colour plates one has a small tear and 8 are grubby (finger marks, splashes etc). Good+.

First edition hard back binding in publisher's original colour illustrated paper covered boards, gilt title lettering to the olive cloth spine. Landscape 9½'' x 12½''. Contains printed pages of text to one leaf with full-page colour illustration opposite. At some stage the pages had worked loose and been taped back-in, this old tape has now been removed and the books pages have been re-glued to the spine, this has stabilised and made the book more presentable, but has left old tape shadows to some of the inner margins, rubbing to the edges of the covers, ink ownership marking to the front free end paper, a little finger soiling to the some pages.
