Charles Luke Powell, born in 1946 in North Carolina, lives in Virginia when he is not on the road. His work has never been published, but was exhibited in 1975 at the museum of decorative arts in Lausanne. Camille Bourniquel, born in 1918 in Paris, was literary director of the magazine esprit from 1958 to 1977. Novelist, poet, essayist, he is also the author of numerous books and articles on non-figurative art and sacred art.
