MAZZATINTI e altri , essendo presidente del Comitato per il centenario napoleonico della battaglia di Marengo (1800-1900) e dopo l'incendio della Bibl. Naz. di Torino le donò la sua collezione napoleonica di 30.000 volumi. Giuseppe MAZZATINTI (Gubbio 1855-Forlì 1906), filologo, bibliografo e bibliotecario, ricercatore di manoscritti; dal 1891 al 1906 pubblicò i 13 volumi di 'Inventari dei manoscritti delle biblioteche d'Italia'.
