Publisher's original brown flocked boards with a black faux leather spine lettered in gilt, with a facsimile of the author's signature in gilt and a white inlaid pictorial title label to the upper board. A publisher's barcode label is fixed to the lower board. White satin bookmark. A very near fine copy, the binding square and firm, bright and fresh. The contents with a touch of bleed from the front endpaper to the very bottom edge of the early pages, are otherwise clean throughout and without previous owners' inscriptions or stamps. Issued in a limited edition of 500 copies, from which this example is numbered 418 and signed by Ian R. MacLeod in blue ink on the limitation page.
