Paperback. Condizione: New. Print on Demand. A compelling biography of a Jesuit priest, this book is the written record of his lengthy correspondence with a beloved sister and spiritual confidante. His letters give an intimate insight into the devout faith and life of a man steadfast in his vocation despite frequent illness. The author traces the key moments in Father Dignam's life from his early struggle with ill health, through his calling to the Society of Jesus, the priesthood, and his work as Founder and Director of the Poor Servants of the Mother of God. The heart of this book is the exposition of his enduring faith, which guided his life's trajectory, and the grace-filled impact of his work for souls. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.…
