Aggiungi al carrelloHandsomely bound in pale green cloth and stamped brightly in gilt on the front boards and the spine. Clean and tight throughout with offsetting and darkening to the endpapers due the dust jacket flaps and to newspaper phots of Keller laid in. In a good plus dust jacket with a thumbnail-sized pile missing at the top of the spinel… Soiling and toning to the front wrapper. There is a quote from Mark Twain on the dust jacket. He says, "'The two most interesting characters of the nineteenth century are Napoleon and Helen Keller." This is apparently the first use of a blurb quote by Twain on a dust jacket, according to Thomas Tanselle. First Edition with 1914 on the title page.
