The models, all legal adults, were clearly chosen for their boyish good looks despite being in their early- to even late-twenties. Among other publications, Boyography announced the end of the demure "pouch" era and the arrival of "all-out-nude" pictorial magazines that defied both the legal boundaries and the authorities tasked with enforcing them. As a result, most of these truly daring magazines have disappeared, confiscated or hidden (unintentionally, for good) by their original owners, never to be seen or found again save the few surviving copies that have turned up as this. Since the present tendency in terms of censorship is to go back in time instead of forge progressively ahead in America, with some politicians actually calling for an outright ban on all explicit material - straight, gay, and "exotic" -, the very existence of these magazines from the not-so-distant past (1969) warrants their being saved and collected. An absolute "must-have" title for Boyography, Mark Taylor, and erotic photography collectors. This title is an erotic photography classic. As far as we know, this is the only copy of the Magazine Issue Number 4 available online and is in especially fine condition: Clean, crisp, and bright. A rare copy thus.
