Internally otherwise clean and tight, covers bright and clean but marred a little by spine end rubbing, jacket in protective sleeve clean and unclipped but slight top edge rubbing and spine end rubbing/chipping. An important and now scarce collection of carefully selected essays - some reprints of classics, others original - which collectively advanced the 'evolutionary epistemology' position to supersede crude nature-versus-nurture and simplistic socio-biological theories. Edges of spine rubbed,and small spots of worn through cloth along edges. Spine tips with tiny closed tearing. A hint of shake to the binding. Otherwise, a very clean copy. 46 of the plates are full color plates.
