Raccolta di rime arcadine di una delle più celebri coppie della cultura romana la cui prima edizione fu pubblicata nel 1723. La parte iniziale presenta i componimenti di Giambattista Zappi, noto in arcadia con il nome di Biante Cratero e caratterizzati da grazia espressiva e freschezza metrica,  e di sua moglie, Faustina Maratti, figlia dell'importante pittore Carlo  Maratti. Per il resto sono raccolti versi di moltissimi arcadi quali A. Guidi, A. Zampieri, D. Lazzarini, F. Lorenzini, B. Menzini, G.B. Richeri, A. M. Salvini, ecc. ecc. . Book.

In antiporta ritratto dell'imolese Zappi inciso in rame da Nasi; trasferito a Roma, fu tra i fondatori dell'Accademia di Arcadia nel 1690, ove ebbe nome di Tirsi Leucasio; il matrimonio colla romana Faustina Maratti (anch'ella elegante poetessa col nome di Auglario Cidonia) dette vita ad un ben frequentato cenacolo letterario. In questa edizione del 1819-20 (la 1a edizione delle Rime è del 1723) appaiono per la prima volta 5 sonetti rimasti inediti (rispetto al "corpus" edito di 38) in vita della Maratti.
