Motta was one of the major figures responsible for continuing and publishing Crowley's work after his death, and this volume continued The Equinox as the official organ of the A?A? A large portion of the book is devoted to Liber LXV, Crowley's Liber Cordis Cincti Serpente, presented with extensive commentary by Crowley and Motta. It also contains Motta's lengthy study of Liber CCXXXI, the O.T.O. Manifesto, poetry by Fernando Pessoa, reviews, essays, and other Thelemic material. Later references to this volume also give it the title Satan and Christ. This is the much scarcer deluxe issue, bound in the original green and gilt mottled padded binding with gilt titles and device to the front board and gilt titles to the spine. All edges gilt, with marbled endpapers, retaining the original cream dust jacket. In Very Good condition, with only very light shelf wear to the binding. The dust jacket has light shelf wear with old tape repairs around the head and foot of the spine. Internally clean throughout. Signed.…
