Not a book but a 12-inch, 33-1/3 rpm vinyl record, Mark 56 No. 707, near-mint vinyl in a near-mint cardboard jacket which has been opened but is still wearing ts original shrink-wrap. The 1951 Warner Brothers film -- completed by an uncredited Raoul Walsh after original director (and Broadway veteran) Bretaigne Windust fell ill -- also featured Zero Mostel, Everett Sloane, Ted De Corsia, and King Donovan. The film that first introduced most of the American public to the gangland terms "contract," "hit," and "finger man." Licensed "for home use only; not licensed for broadcast." Bogart's ADA Martin Ferguson was based on Burton Turkus, who led the prosecutions of several members of Brooklyn's Murder, Inc. gang. Turkus' book on the case (titled "Murder, Inc.," of course) was published at about the same time the film was released. Reduced from $16.

Final Draft for the 1974 television film, which aired on NBC on March 16, 1974, here under the working title "Boselli's World." Bound in, preceding the script, is a fifteen page Shooting Schedule for December 2-21, 1973 with manuscript red marker annotations noting names and striking dates. Bound in following the script are 26 script pages, replaced by revision pages. Preceding the script is a page entitled "Episode Title Suggestions," implying the television movie was originally intended as a possible pilot for a series which never transpired. Ernest Borgnine stars as tugboat operator Vince Boselli, who along with Della Reese, the owner of a waterfront cafe, clash with a dock foreman trying to change the way things are done on the piers. Orange titled wrappers, noted as FINAL DRAFT on the front wrapper, dated November 16, 1973, with credits for screenwriters Martin Rackin and Robert Pirosh. 132 leaves, with last page of text numbered 86.
