Some splitting to the front and rear hinge papers and separations between a few pages but the binding remains tight and intact. Heavily illustrated. Beautiful covers and spine printed in gold and black. This copy is from a 19th Century private lending institution, the Mercantile Library of New York City. There are no external indications of the library's ownership. A handwritten number and Mercantile Library stamp are on the title page and some of the internal pages.
