Vorderer Vorsatz mit eingeklebtem Zettelchen mit eigenhändiger Signatur des Graphikers und Buchkünstlers (wohl aus einer anderen Publikation Matheys ausgeschnitten, da im Oberrand mit einer gedruckten Zeile mit handschriftlicher Nummerierung). Mathey (1884-1968) war Meisterschüler von E.R. Weiss an der Kunstgewerbeschule Berlin, leitete dann bis 1928 die Werkstätten der Akademie für graphische Künste und Buchgewerbe in Leipzig und war seit 1953 langjähriger Leiter des Klingspor-Museums in Offenbach.
