Aggiungi al carrelloSoft cover. Condizione: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. 192 pages. A golfing novel, attractive front cover illustrated by Mike Bilsland, some large characters run across these pages . Michael Borissow (1929-2002) was a journalist, night editor for the Daily Sketch, owner of a news agency, publisher and novelist (his other novel being Life's Full of Surprises, which we also have listed for sale). He built and ran his own golf course, Cranbrook Golf Club, and famously almost sold it to Bing Crosby whom he entertained for a round at Cranbrook in 1977, just two days before the singer's death. Borissow eventually retired to Portugal. Clearly never read, the book's spine shows just a little wear along edges and there is a spot of creasing at top left of rear cover: book close to Near Fine condition.
