B. & w. photos, (the Ark Royal and the aeroplanes 'Albacore' and 'Swordfish' among others). Contents are clean and tidy but the first photo illustration and page 15 have small cellotape repairs to small tears at the bottom of the pages. The left f.e.p. has a plate from T.S. Arethusa, indicating that the book was awarded as a prize to 'L. Phillips' for being '1st in Signals'. The right of the f.e.p. bears creases to the bottom right. Additional loose-leaf items include headed note-paper from an address in Bracknell, with the name and address of L-C. Lithgow and Cdr Campbell Lithgow. The 2nd item/s are fragments of the dust-wrapper, which are in pieces, but do include the summaries from the front and rear flaps, which are readable. This book is thus sold without a viable dust-jacket. 8vo.
