Three page introduction by Henry Miller in English which is repeated later in the catalogue in French. 4 b/w plates and 9 b/w illustrations. The drawings and the Henry Miller text first appeared in Paris Review, no. 10. This catalogue was produced to accompany the exhibition of work by "Zev" held at La Galerie Furstenberg, Paris from 18 November to 3 December, 1955. Born Daniel Albert Harris (1914-1986), he changed his name to Zev when he moved to Europe in 1953 having been discovered a decade earlier by Grace McCann Morley, founder of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. During this period, Zev lived in Big Sur, California where he probably met Henry Miller.
