A little marking and some scuffing to binding, a little discolouration to spine but reasonably clean and colouring still vivid. Signs of wear, rubbing at edges and on hinges, a little tearing. Bumped corners. Binding reasonably firm. Page edges browned, scuffed, slightly tanned and a bit marked. Upper edges gilt, a bit dulled. Some leaves unopened. Some pages that have been opened have rough and jagged edges. A little marking to endpapers, the odd mark to page surfaces but otherwise clean, no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information. 342+ pp. n.
