"An eclectic magazine with international range, regarded as one of the best of the period" (Miller & Price A173). Very good copy; mild bump to a couple of corners, contents otherwise fine, covers lightly foxed.

3 vols. Complete with added lithographic title and 110 lovely botanical plates, all but eleven in color. 8vo, 19th c. quarter green calf and marbled sides; gilt-decorated spines. First edition. Armorial bookplate on each front pastedown; the leather at one corner lacking and the gilt-lettered label of that volume about 50% defective; slight rubbing and use to the bindings; tight and sound. The plates and text are free of foxing and very attractive.
