Der europäische Gesetzgeber harmonisiert mit dem Verbraucherkauf einen Schlüsselbereich der europäischen Schuldrechtsordnungen. Diese Arbeit untersucht, wie zwei große EU-Staaten, Spanien und Deutschland, die Richtlinienvorgaben in ihr nationales Zivilrecht einfügen. Deutschland hat die Richtlinie zum Anlaß genommen das gesamte Schuldrecht zum 1.1.2002 umfassend zu modernisieren.
