No date of publication is stated, although, by the look of the binding, and as evidenced by the inscription on the Sunday school prize stamp on the front fly leaf, circa 1911. The green decorative cloth boards are still in wonderful, fresh looking condition with black title lettering and vignette to the front board and further vignette and gilt title lettering on the spine. On close inspection there is a little sun fading to the top third of the front board and very minor bumping to the extremities but these really are hardly noticeable. Internally the pages are lovely and clean save for a few superficial light marks to the front end papers. In all a wonderful copy of this classic.
