Er war ab 1938 auch, da áls "Halbjude" rassisch untragbar!, inoffizieller Hausautor des Kabaretts "Wiener Werkel", deren Stücke aber, trotz angeblichem Bekenntnis zur NS-Ideologie und gekonntem Lavieren, oft zensiert und teilweise verboten wurden.
