Aggiungi al carrelloAufgrund der guten Beziehungen des ersten Dolmetschers von Naser al-Din Schah, des Armeniers Mirza Dawud (David) Khan, zum österreichischen Hof in Wien und der Verbindungen seines ehemaligen Leibarztes, Jakob Eduard Polak, wurden auf der zweiten Europareise Naser al-Din Schahs österreichische Offiziere angeworben, die die Reorga…nisation der persischen Armee in Angriff nehmen sollten. Die Ankunft Naser al-Din Schahs in Wien am 5. Juli 1878 glich einem Volksfest. Johann Strauss Sohn hatte im Auftrag des Wiener Hofes eine persische Nationalhymne komponiert, um den Gast zur Weltausstellung 1873 standesgemäß empfangen zu können. Der österreichische Staatsmann, Freiherr Karl von Krauß (1789 Lemberg - Wien 1881) hatte in zwei Kabinetten 1851-1857 als Justizminister gedient und war sodann zum Präsidenten des Obersten Gerichts berufen worden. Er war einer der angesehensten, langdienenden hohen Beamten der Monarchie.
