Chinese wares produced for Thai royal palaces, as well as for more mundane usage, often exhibit unique forms, decorative colours and elements, demonstrating the willingness of Chinese potters to adapt their products to the tastes of their Thai customers. The author particularly focuses on Bencharong enamel-coloured wares for the Thai market, as well as Lai Nam Thong, or gold-washed wares.
