Aggiungi al carrelloHardcover. Condizione: Good. Red cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Boards show some fading, especially around the edges, and they are a little grubby. Slight bumping to corners. Spine is faded with bumping to ends. The cream ffep has, at some stage, been replaced with a sheet of white paper which has been coloured yellow with a felt pen! (A less than perfect match). A small taped repair to the title page. Textblock has one or two grubby marks but is generally clean. 420 pp. Additional photos are available upon request. Two priced bookseller catalogues, both dated 1840, bound in one volume: Nattali lists 5,874 entries, while the Longman catalogue contains 4,101 items. Ex-library, Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County in Ohio (deaccession slip laid in), with blindstamp on title page, shelf label, donor bookplate, no other markings. Good copy; contents generally fine, with a little toning, not much apparent signs of use; the upper board has been neatly reattached, edges and corners rubbed, some offset from turn-ins, original gilt on title label rubbed away.…
