Authors: Nadia Christensen (1937-) is an American author, editor, translator, and children's literature specialist. She has lived in many parts of the world, served as Editor-in-Chief of Scandinavian Review, and worked as a consultant for European and American publishers. Her work includes original poetry, translations from Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, and Spanish, and several children's books. Neil Hollander (1939-2021) was an American writer, filmmaker, journalist, and adventurer. A sociologist by training (Ph.D. from the University of Washington), he authored cookbooks, sailing books, and children's tales. He lived extensively in Europe, Costa Rica, and elsewhere, and collaborated with Christensen on this title during their creative partnership. Illustrator: Bernard J. Williams is a full-time artist and illustrator known for his warm, expressive watercolour and ink style. He has illustrated a wide range of children's books and has four children of his own.
