      Hardcover. Condizione: Good. No Dust Jacket. Hardcover without dust jacket, in good condition for its age. Boards and spine are scuffed and worn, with surface colour loss noted. Edges, corners and spine ends are bumped and rubbed. Spine is cocked, and page block is tanned and foxed, with an ink mark on the page block foot. Label remnants on rear endpaper and rear pastedown. Spots of foxing on a few of the pages, which are otherwise clear, and binding is sound. LW. Used.

Hard back binding in contemporary full red leather covers, five raised bands with gilt title, author lettering and scroll designs to the spine, Farnborough School coat of arms to the upper panel, gilt knurling to the board edges, marble paper end papers and page edges. 8vo. 7½'' x 5¼''. Contains [xxviii] 272 printed pages of text with 24 full-page single-sided monochrome illustrations throughout. A little rubbing across the top of the spine which is slightly age darkened, prize plate inside, internally in Fine condition. Member of the P.B.F.A. ENGLISH HISTORY.
