Black boards and spine with gilt lettering on the front board with blind stamped edging. Internal hinges are sound with not cracks or breaks. Tinted textblock edges. 72 pp 8vo. This is a book about prayer. The author states "it is to be feared that in the hurry and bustle of our age this primitive custom of old fashioned family worship is being more and more neglected even among professors of religion. This is not as it should be, and it is to quicken our sense of duty and privilege in the respect that this little volume is issued". A clean presentable copy.
