This is an oversized hardcover book with 192 pages including lots of beautiful illustrations. The binding is strong with all pages firmly attached. There is a "S" written on the top of the first end paper and t…he corners of the front cover are a bit bumped. The pages are otherwise clean with no soiling or tears. The copyright page shows 1983 as the published date. The dust jacket shows just a hint of edgewear and there is a short (one-inch) closed tear on the top of the back next to the spine (No Chips). This book looks and feels great! We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box.
