Brown (1900-1968) who was married to Martha Stennis Brown (1911-1998), a relation to Mississippi U.S. Senator John C. Stennis; General and Mrs. Brown are interred in a family plot in a Newton, Mississippi cemetery; book was acquired from the Columbus, Mississippi estate of a sister of Mrs. Brown.
