Einige Beschränkungen, die in dieser Arbeit beobachtet werden, sind in der vorhandenen Literatur bereits bekannt (vgl. Obenauer 1994, Den Dikken & Giannakidou 2002 zu Fragesätzen mit Partikeln wie frz. diable bzw. engl. the hell; Castroviejo 2006, Rett 2008 zu Exklamativsätzen und Lambrecht 1996 zu ähnlichen Beschränkungen in Spalfragen). Die meisten Analysen in der Forschungsliteratur sind jedoch auf einen bestimmten Frage- oder Exklamativsatztyp ausgerichtet (z.B. Fragen mit Partikeln oder Spaltfragen) oder auf sogenannte Gradexklamativsätze. Es stellt sich daher die Frage ob, und wenn ja, wie diese Analysen auf andere Frage- und Exklamativsatztypen übertragen werden können. Die vorliegende Studie geht von der These aus, dass die meisten Beschränkungen in Frage-und Exklamativsätzen mit mehreren Frageelementen einheitlich als Interventionseffekte erklärt werden können (vgl. Beck 2006, Mayr 2013). Wie sich zeigen wird, sind solche Frage-und Exklamativsatztypen mit einem Fokusoperator verbunden, der einen Interventionseffekt auslöst.
