A am also informed that few, if any, Canadians flew over as many countries as me, or actively covered as many invasions. While overseas, I kept a very comprehensive diary, and this information along with the 300 letters I sent Mother, which she saved, provides details and information which are rather unique. I have tried to incorporate many aspects not previously recorded in print. I hope my story will find interest among living Canadian fighter pilots, and their families, and among a whole new generation of younger people who want to know what the war fought in the air was like."
