Light external wear and some sunning to the rear board. Very good. Having discovered at the time of writing that there was almost nothing published on the construction of 'eight' boats, Orchard compiled this thesis on the subject, relying almost entirely on information gained on visits to George Simms and Sons of Putney, Boatbuilders, and on personal interviews at the home of Mr. Harvey Simms.
