There are two errors in the pagination with two pages numbered 276 and two pages numbered 507, but the book is complete as published. Full contemp. marbled calf, gilt bands to spine, red label, gilt. The book…has been neatly recased with the old spine and label relaid. Plates are very clean with very little off-setting or foxing. This book was first published in parts and some of the sections are on different paper stock, e.g. in some sections the paper has a slight blueish tinge. A little creasing to the inside edge of the title page. A very nice copy. VG+.
