Er wirkte als Hochschullehrer, Forscher, Mitglied der Volkskammer der DDR (NDPD) und Autor wichtiger populärwissenschaftlicher Bücher. Von 195…0-1952 Gesundheitsminister in Sachsen-Anhalt, 1953 Habilitation, ab 1954 Professor an der Humboldt-Universität in Berlin, ab 1957 an der Universität in Greifswald tätig. Hier von 1960-62 Ordinarius für Ökonomik der Landwirtschaft und ab 1963 Leiter des Rubenow-Institutes für Bildungsforschung der Ernst-Moritz-Arndt-Universität. Sehr früh, schon Anfang der 60er Jahre greift Rühle Zukunftsthema der Menschheit auf; Buch gut erhalten.
