The Battle of Hastings, dated 1793. 79 p.pages. Period brown sheep leather binding with gilt horizontal divisions and decorations to spine. Split to leather down right side of spine and most way down left side, also down centre of spine. Edge wear, especially at corners and some rubbing. Tiny bit of insect damage at bottom and fore edge of first few pages of Oroonoko, otherwise pages in very good, clean condition. No inscriptions. Binding cracked in middle of book and reinforced.
