Small chips and tears to edges of remainder of text block. light overall scuffing aging and soiling to covers as well. Binding tight. Page lightly aged but otherwise unmarked. Not Ex-library. Overall a good reading copy of this scarce authentic 1916 reprint. NOT a modern facsimile. Oxley Grabham, Keeper of the York Museum, provides a detailed survey of Yorkshire potteries, their wares, makers' marks, and manufacturing history. The book reproduces numerous photographs of pottery specimens and pattern blocks, including examples of Leeds ware and the famous "Willow" pattern.
