This work is undated; circa mid-late 1900's. The author is for whom The Panum Institute, a part of the University of Copenhagen, is named. Panum (1820-1885) was a professor of physiology who, while still a medical student, worked on the cholera epidemics that culminated in 1853. He is also famous for his research into measles in connection with an epidemic of that disease in the Faroe Islands.
