Schreiben zugunsten seines Cousins Edmond de Campagne, der sich um einen Posten als Unterpräfekt bemüht. Ségur fragt Montalivet, ob sein Cousin nicht auch einen Posten im Innenministerium erhalten könnte. Mit offenbar eigenhändiger Anmerkung von Montalivet, dass er ihm den verlangten Posten im Innenministerium nicht geben könne. Sprache: französisch.

Rar…e document contre le roi déchu et ses ministres, à peine répertorié, qui existe dans deux versions : la nôtre et une imprimée à Nancy chez Richard-Durupt. Le WorldCat ne donne qu'un seul exemplaire de chaque tirage : Leyde pour notre tirage, BnF pour celui de Nancy. Ce document se présente comme une lettre de Charles X, commençant et finissant par la formule « Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa », dans laquelle on voit un roi faible, naïf, manipulé par ses ministres dont certains, pourtant catholiques, ne sont que des « loups ravissants ». A la fin de la lettre, trois petits paragraphes montrent que le document date d'août 1830. En effet, il est dit que Charles X part en Saxe via Hambourg, ne pouvant se rendre en Angleterre, alors qu'il embarque le 16 août pour l'Angleterre. Très rare document. [304-2].
