This particular one concentrates on the eyes and through a series of articles provides information on the mechanics of sight, what happens in later life, and conditions that can be inherited. Illustrated with an eye chart and a section of vintage b/w photographs. Measures 4" x 6" with 70 pages with decortive flexible embossed leatherette covers. On the dust cover, which is scuffed and has a small hole and a small tear, the prior owner has written in, in ink, two words in the title (KNOW & EYES). It appears that at some point in time, these two words had been ripped off of the cover and the prior owner decided to print these two words in by hand. (See photo.) On the last page, what at first appears to be a small fanciful drawing, on closer inspection seems to be an elaborate signature and a date. Otherwise, the contents of this volume are clean and intact.
