Cloth. Decorative cover. Condizione: Very Good. Condizione sovraccoperta: NA. First full-length non-fiction book treatment of ladies' golf. (A novel, by Mrs. Kennard, about ladies' golf was published three years earlier.) The book 8vo. x, [2], 233, [1] pp. The book treats the subject from a wide range of angles -- competitions, ladies' clubs, professionals, etc. The cover of the book is a delightful color illustration of a woman putting with two men -- a coach/instructor and a caddy -- standing nearby.
