The author was the Scoutmaster and later local district commissioner and was Gentleman Usher to His Majesty King Edward VII and George V and presumably through this connection employed scouts from the troop to Royal occasions such s investitures. The booklet is in VG condition though he staples are rusting and the center pages are loose. See scans.
