Facsimile reprint, collecting together 6 pamplets written by Thomas on the early history of cricket. They were originally published between 1922 and 1929. 1st thus, 8vo. 48, 52, 80, 52, 72, 128 and 24 pages of index. Tables, diagrams, illustrations. The facsimile covers of each pamplet bound in. Internally very good, near fine, clean and bright. In the original green waxed cloth, gilt tiles, very good to near fine.

Condition varies across the set: (i) bumped at heel, with spotting to page edges, foxing at extremities, inscription on frontis recto, sporadic pencil, and dampstain to rear; (ii) covers soiled with scuffed joints, mold spot on page edge, front joint starting, front free endpaper torn and dog-eared, owner's name on title page, p. 269-280 dog-eared, rear free endpaper present, and dampstain near upper rear; (iii) scuffed front joint and bumped heel, with dampstain and spotting to page edges, inscription on frontis recto, and faint foxing at extremities; (iv) lightly bumped at head and heel with faint foxing at extremities; (v) light bumping at heel and scuffing at head, faint foxing at extremities, with bookseller's receipt and Christmas tag laid in.

They were put out by Richards, of Nottingham, from 1923 to 1929, with the specific intention of being bound at some later stage with a title-page, frontispiece, contents page and the index at the close.
